tingling sensation
8 Answers
There is a small area on the left side of my back where I feel a strange tingling sensation. It is not uncomfortable or painful, but it just feels strange. I started feeling it about 2 weeks ago. I was wondering if anyone has experienced or heard of this type of thing before?

Again, no help, but good luck!
I have the same problem which has also travelled to my left shoulder and along my shoulder blade, it get dizzy spells with it to. I think its stress on the muscles as I sit a lot for my job and have to twist and turn a lot. I have done loads of looking on the internet and it all seems to come back to the same thing. I now have to stand at work all day to get relief, but then I ache like hell when I get home. I've come to the conclusion that maybe I need to do more regular exercise and strengthen my back muscles up. The young people don't seem to suffer as much as I do (I am 55). Hope this helps a bit.

Strangely, I have this sensation too.It comes and goes and there seems to be no paticular pattern to it at all. I have mentioned it to my GP who took lots of blood samples to rule out various nasties- get my results next week. Mine seems to be below the shoulder blade- I suggested to my GP that it may be related to some gastric discomfort that I had as back pain/discomfort can be related to a gastric ulcer, but she was unsure-hence the bloods. Will try and keep you posted
