OMG!!!!!

Good Morning!

Well I am back from the hospital....minus a large onion ring sized chunk of cervix [my best mates description]...a little sore but hopefully cancer free!!!!!
The gynaecologist is confident that she managed to get it all as the 'patches' very contained and localised.
I will get my results on the 13th of Jan but for now it's all good!!!

I really can't thank you all enough for being here for me.....and I will keep you all updated when the results are back, but like I said the gynaecologist thinks she got it all and the nurse reassured me she only says that when she feels she has! Worst case scenario right now is to have the same procedure again if she did miss any.

That's great divegirl - I know you can beat it. The great thing is a positive outlook. You will have to go back for regular checks for a while but it is worth it in the long run.
