Much better after the transfusion yesterday?..if all goes well, should be home on New years Day.

im assuming the blood transfusion was because of blood loss during surgery ? if one artery bypassed successfully,what is the situation with the other two ? , if you dont want to give out the info sqad, id understand.

anne ..you assume correctly....Hb fell to 8 % not a big deal, but all oxygen loss to the heart may be deleterious
They couldnt do the 3 bypasses with the vein because the aorta was calcified, so the int.mammary artery was used for the best of the bad bunch of coronary arteries

One bypassed out of 3 ain't bad.

so. drug therapy ? when you say "home" do you mean home or local hospital ?i hope discharge is imminent, but remember you will feel ( like youv^e been kicked by a horse ) for a while, i hope mrs s has someone to help her when you do get discharged.
