I never ever get spots!!!
HOWEVER.... I have an under the skin spot on my chin now its quite sore to touch...
What can i use on it? - to make it go away and also less painfull!!
Been run down recently so im sprouting spots and coldsores and have the cold...grrrrr xx

It draws out all of these nasties but you have to put it on and cover it with a plaster. It's good stuff but doesn't solve your immediate problem. You could go with the really hot water on a cloth, or else dab it with something to dry it out. Toothpaste can be quite good as well as the other suggestions here. But if you're run down you might need to boost your immune system, try echinacea for a wee while, or some zinc - be warned though they both taste foul - just try them for a few weeks. Zovirax works best for cold sores, or Boots own version.

I find clinique toner (the green one) good. Lasts ages too and you can get the trial ones to try usually from counters. I dab a bit on a sore spot and it seems to help and try not to touch it. I avoid make up or anything like creams which may have oil in on it too on it, let the skin breathe as much as possible and keep it nice and clean (I have natually quite oily skin though so helps me to keep that under control to help).
Steaming might help bring it out?
