Getting older :(
45 Answers
Sadly, Johnson's baby cream is no longer cutting the mustard and the skin on my face is really quite dry. Can anyone recommend a cheap and cheerful moisturiser that's not too heavy or oily (I don't wear make up and never put soap on my face). Thanks from a 42 year old who is suddenly realising that she is not a teenager anymore!

I`ve tried numerous other brands but I always go back to that. I like to feel a moisuriser on my face because I think that if you put something on your face and it disappears and you can`t feel it that`s because it is just water and it evaporates off. I`m still searching for the definitive night cream though.
Yes, lottie is quite right. She is lucky to have naturally oily skin. Whatever you use, keep it up - you will find the benefit as you get older. I have always put cream on my face and although I have wrinkles (after all, I would be odd if I didn't at 84) my facial skin is far better than many others of the same age group. My sister in law is far, far worse than mine and she is 7 years younger. Keep going - you won't regret it.
Reading this with intrest, how come us blokes can go our entire lives with no type of cosmetic ever ? Is it something to do with hormones?
I would estimate that 98% of men have never used any type of cosmetic.
The only time I used make up was when I used stage make up , I used to be a keen on amateur dramatics in my youth .
