Fortunately its not a drug that probably requires a lifetimes use. Without it a fast pulse will eventually give you pains in the centre of the chest similar to Angina.
The best long term treatment is not to rely on the drug but take up some form of relaxation like Yoga or deep breathing which will eventally have some effect.
Tinks-- a bit of a tip for the future. Like you I take regular tablets and have forgotten to re-order at holiday times. Big panic then of course-- so now as I go along I cut 2 tablets of a new strip and put them in a safe place, do this perhaps 3 times -- and then a few in reserve for when I next forget -- usually bank holidays.
Probably lots of reasons why you shouldn't do this, but it does help to stop me from panicking.
Hope you get sorted out with the medication .Sincerely Brenda.
tinks, check how long your doc's usually takes for a script - if I put one in on Monday, I can collect it after 4pm on wednesday, don't risk getting left without any.
In England GPs can only prescribe a maximum about of some drugs, a week's worth or something like that, it depends on what it is.
