Last had period circa 09 April, but commenced Rigevidon around that time. Towards the end of the 21-day pack, I began to experience severe breast tenderness, fluctuating mood and extreme fatigue so decided not to take any further tablets. I didn't really have what you'd call a withdrawal bleed - more like a bit of spotting. I have been off through pill for 3 weeks now and there's no sign of a period, though the aforementioned symptoms persist.
I didn't take the Rigevidon as rigidly as I should have done and experienced some diarrhoea during the first few days of taking it. I now have a bloated, hard lower abdomen and an inexplicable aversion to foods and drinks I've always loved. I cannot stomach wine right now.
Two tests have come back negative, the last one being last Tuesday.
I must stress that I only took the Rigevidon half-heartedly and irregularly, and we have since decided that I we don't wish to delay trying for a baby.
If the pill is responsible for messing up my periods, is there a drug that can kick start them again?
think you need Sqad for this one, NoM, or your own GP as he has all your medical records; good luck though - no wonder WoW has been on hold.
the effects you describe are typical side effects, the breasts, mood swings, tiredness (libido?)... I would have thought two "No" results are accurate.....
all you can do is take a test tomorrow when you can get one. You might be pregnant, you might not be. Unless I'm mistaken I thought you were trying anyway? Why were you taking contraception? Or am I getting you confused with another aber. I havent had period since 1 april, doesnt mean you are defo pregnant.
to kick start you should go see your doctor. or as a herbal substutute you could try soy isoflavines when you next bleed to put your cycle back to normal.
Without going into too much detail, I was pregnant back in 2004, and that was the last time my lower abdomen was this rounded and hard. From memory, I experienced symptoms from the word go.
4get, the pill was to postpone pregnancy until after the wedding. However, I didn't really take the pill properly and neither one of us was really conscious about preventing a pregnancy.
if it was just one pack its highly unlikely that messed up you cycles that much. Did you have regulay cycles before tha one pack, if 28 days you would have ovulated approx 14 days after start of period so 23rd April
