Does chemo always wipe you out, feeling exhausted?
Does it make a difference if you feel pretty good when starting treatment?
My brother starts a twice a week dose on Tues for 6 months, with a week free for checks throughout this time.

many thanks for all your replies Abers. Just sitting here thinking about what he told me this morning, but didnt mention what chemo it was.
he sounds ok at the moment and loves his game of outdoor bowls, so I must stop looking on the dark side and look to his future recovery!
Good luck whoever is going through Radiotherapy, or chemo xx

Hello pusskin :)
It cannot be easy for you, but it is possible to worry too much about something over which we have no control.
Be there for your brother, with as much of a positive attitude as you can muster. Offer to polish his woods for him ;)
You have been through an awful lot recently, just enjoy your time with him and be as 'normal' as possible xx

Cheers ttfn. He came across as fine this morning, but he always does.
He is only worried about not being able to play bowls, and takes it in his stride about having myloma. He is doing a fine job of putting our minds at rest, so you can only carry on the conversation with him and moan and groan about anything but his illness x lol

My brother has a positive attitude but we know he is obviously worried deep down. The funeral of my sister on Monday, brought us all together and we did have a right ole chuckle now and again. So this last week has been a downer but I'm feeling lots better, especially after a lovely day out in London y/day.Got to keep our chins up havent we x
