Right, be honest, just how many different cleansers, gels, lotions & potions etc do you use in a day? Mine is a rather long list I'm ashamed to admit (maybe later) but I am getting on a bit & need a lot of maintenance! Please feel free to include any 'ointments' - don't worry your secret's safe with us.
This has been prompted by oxeyedaisy's thread on smelly people in People & Places!

You meet so many people who just don't do anything and they wonder why their skin is in rubbish condition. I used to go crazy on products but i have clamed down now, but i have drawers and drawers of the stuff from my old job. Personally i use: -
AM - Johnson's face wash, Garnier eye cream and Face cream.
Make-up - Elizabeth Arden good morning skin serum(base) Clarins liquid foundation mixed with a skin lights moisturiser, Maybelline Cream blusher, Clarins eye shadows, L'oreal mascara and lip balm unless i am going out and it would be lip gloss by l'oreal.
Bath/Shower - Radox bath foam, Palm olive shower gel, John Frieda Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner and St Ives face scrub and boots mint, sugar and mango body scrub once a week. Either Lux or Garnier body lotion depending on if i am going out or not.
Evening - L'oreal eye make-up remover, johnson's face wash again, then my eye and face cream again.
I use alot of other thigs on odd occasions but i won't list then as that will just be silly and too much for my brain to rummage through LOL!
Thanks again all, I'm not feeling nearly as guilty as I did!! It's a wonder we don't glow in the dark, or maybe some of you do....??
shaneystar I'll have a study of that info later, thank you . The funny thing is I almost asked you whether you were sure that the cream was for humans (mother-in-law's idea of a joke??) but I didn't want to offend you or your mum-in-law, I'm sure she's lovely!
Little Lady I'd really love some treatments, the nearest I came to beauty threrapist was being an Avon Lady. Several children in my area actually thought my name was Avon! Sometimes I took my young son with me & he often said 'Are we going to see the crinkly ladies?' Thank goodness he never said it to their (crinkly!) faces!!
jno I did wonder whether any men would reply. I know that in his teens my oldest son used my moisturiser & hair products & he used equal quantities of bubble bath & water in the bath. With the youngest I could have hidden his Christmas presents in the bathroom knowing he wouldn't find them!!
My son (22) uses Nivea Sensitive face wash for men, Nivea for Men after shave balm and Nivea sensitive moisturiser in additional to shower gel, shampoo, deodorant and toothpaste. However, he doesn't spend ages in the bathroom and doesn't pamper himself.
My husband uses shower gel and toothpaste plus some nice body splash. Not too much shampoo though (not too much hair). No deodorant though as he says it ain't good for you. I must admit though he doesn't smell and doesn't have wet patches, so I can't complain.
Quite a bit shamefully!
Shampoo
Conditioner (both Aussie but alternated with something cheaper)
Showergel
Frizz Ease hair serum (Hallelujah for this miracle stuff!)
Tiny wee bit of hair gel
Deodorant
Toothpaste
Cucumber face refresher
Nivea
Vaseline intensive care body lotion
Foundation, cover up, powder, mascara, wee bit of blusher
Bodyspray or perfume
Lots of handcream as have very dry hands (although recently went on holiday to Cornwall and didn't need to use any all week - lovely soft water!)
Nighttime - boots eye make up remover, and soap and water!
More Nivea (magic cream!)
Am also horribly addicted to baths and bathbubble (esp Lush bubble bars and bath bombs)
Boyfriend has banned me from buying any more until I've used some up!

Wispy I think you take the prize for most items but as I see they're not ridiculously expensive things I'll forgive you!! I've just bought some Cuticura Sensitive Facewash for 99p from a small local chemist & it's just as good as some things I've paid a lot more for.
I don't know what you keep your make-up in but I find that the one thing I'm in a hurry to find is always at the bottom!
