For an accurate prognosis one needs to know the type of tumour, the presence or absence of spread (metastsis) and the PSA levels (blood test which indicates how aggressive the tumour seems to be)
I would guess, not given the complete details, that his outlook will be quite good....80-90% chance of living for 5 years....which is good.
This is only a surmise with the details that you have given.
