Could be, it's known for it though there may be other factors in the equasion, have you only started to have stomach upset since taking them?
No.
Sqad, love your straight to the point masterful answers lol <kiss>
I thought you weren't suppose to take them on an empty stomach?
Question Author
I've been taking them for quite a while now

Sqad - fair do's - I asked a question inviting a one word answer .
However any reason why you consider it not to be a factor ?
Doctor - "Go for a walk on an empty stomach".
Patient - "Whose"?
Wrong topic Wharton??
Bazile. I was recently prescribed 75mg dispersible Aspirin daily and Omeprazole to prevent stomach upset from the Aspirin.
Sqad....would rather take as few pills as possible...do I need the second?
Bazile.....yes.......a dose of 75mgms is like "p1ssing in the ocean".....enough to make your platelets less sticky, but hardly enough to cause gastric erosions.

Anyway i feel that there is a certain amount of hysteria about aspirin causing gastric upsets......particularly 75 mgms.
Many years ago my doctor advised me to take a low dose aspirin daily which didn't give any side effects to my knowledge. Now he's suggested I stop taking them. Confusing isn't it?
gness......give it a try.
Yes mamyalynne, sorry Bazile.

Or should I say - what is the reason why you say no ?
Lord Sqad ......the times I've heard that. x

I take the same daily dose, I was advised to dilute them before taking to avoid irritating the gut.
Question Author
gness - I was prescribed Lansoprazole - so i must have mentioned it to my GP previously
