My Daughter has had a circular rash on her arm for the last 3 weeks, with a continous cold, and back ache, I took her to the doctors on friday as I thought she had ring worm, after 3 doctors and a nurse looking at the rash they think she has Lyme disease, she works at a well known wildlife rescue hospital an think she may have been bitten by a tick, She is on Antibiotics Doxcycillan which have knocked her for 6, But can't get rid of this awful headache, paracetamol/brufen has not touched it, I have sulpadol + syndol in the cupboard, can I give 1 of those with the antibiotics.

Many thanks

Congrats to the Drs for thinking of the diagnosis.

Yes...perfectly safe.

What strength of ibuprofen did you give to her and how old is she?
Question Author
she is 19, The antibiotics make her feel so sick, she took 2 yesterday, and 1 today, and then 1 a day for 5 days, she has 2 brufen normal strength (over the counter), and then paracetamol x 2 500 intermitently.

Thanks squad

As both of those contain paracetamol she will need to take it no sooner than 4 hours after her last dose of plain paracetamol.
