Right, I buy liquid soaps for the kitchen and toilets but I use Dove soap on my daughter's face and sometimes wash my hands with it as they get very dry.
Ooh Mick, I don't like the smell of imperial leather at all - I don't want to be crude but I don't think it mixes well when people wash their giblets with it! Yuk.
lol sorry Mick, I couldn't read and not say anything, it's the most revolting soap. If you want a nice soap, the body shop do some gorgeous fruity flavours.
I've recently started using bar soap again as my hands were getting very dry and cracked using liquid soap, despite my constant use of hand cream. Since I made the change my hands are more or less "normal" and I no longer have to use hand cream
I use anti-bacterial liquid soap in the wetroom, family bathroom and kitchen, and baby sensitive stuff for me, Lemon or Lime Source shower gel for daughter, Lnyx stuff for the men. Bar soap can harbour germs and I hate the way it goes mushy.
Carbolic soap was a must in our house when I was a kid...mum swore by it's healthy properties and used it for everything from the back step to my emerging dangly bits....a mild disinfectant which you can still get.
