Hair today, gone tomorrow!

I get really bad ingrowing hairs on my inner thigh and bikini line. They can get quite swollen and painful. Anyone know of any tried and tested remedy? I know exfoliatoing can be helpful but any other suggestions would be gratefully recieved thanks

use a aftershave lotion when u shave the area, this is meant to cause the folicles to clear to allow them to grow outwards, best ask a girl what sort tho as i am a bloke and dont really know

I suffer from the same thing, it always seems to get itchy and red really quickly.  If you're wearing trousers it doesn't help, the friction just rubs the skin raw.  There is a lotion on teh market which is supposed to help prevet ingrowning hairs, I forget what it's called though, I'm sure someone knows the name.

Bikini line wise, I don't know if there's much you can do if you're shaving.  The hair is curly so it's always going to be more likely you'll get ingrowning hairs.  It sounds icky but you can always get rid of them yourself using tweezers, it'll hurt the first few times, but after a while you'll be fine.  And if you wax that area I'm sure it won't bother you at all.

The lotion is called TendSkin.  I've got the same problem and have just started using it so can't say for sure if it works yet!  It's quite expensive but I've read several reviews claiming it has miracle-like properties!

A lot of us girlies suffer from ingrown hairs so i think this new product will get a lot of buyers! Where can we but it though? Boots?

Ps Sounds crazy but i read in a magazine that blotting Vodka on your bikini line helps prevent a rash etc. lol.  I wont be trying it myself but just thought id pass it on.

Thanks for all the replys - will def give the miracle cream a look at. Am sure we can all think of a much better use or vodka tho : )
