Absolutely- give up dairy for 2 weeks at least.
buy some sterimar from the chemist its a natural decongestant. go to www.sterimar.co.uk for info about it!
eucyliptus oil or olbas. I'm starting to sound like I have shares in eucyliptus!
The only thing that clears my nose is Otrivine Spray. It works instantly & is what the doc recommended for short term use.
I dont find olbas oil any good for hay fever.  It is good for colds as it clears away the mucus but i find that with hay fever my nose is actually swollen and olbas oil can't de-swell it!
up until thrusday of last week i had been exactly the same, blocked nose allday everyday, i used all the hayfever tablets and all the sprays didnt work, went to the docs and they prescribed me a steriod spray only to use every now and again, i have used it twice since thursday and not had a bit of bother plus it was put to the ultimate test over the weekend i was camping at t in the park, surrounded by grass & pollen and guess what not had a sniffel...... hope this helps

Hi Sam - as a long term sufferer of Sinusitis, I have also been prescribed steroid sprays, but they made my nasal passages sore, bleed & scabby inside. My GP told me to stop using them & prescribed Otrivine (which you can now buy at the chemist). Thankfully, It works wonders for me.

N.B. As per my GP - all nasal sprays should only be used on a short term basis.

I agree with smudger, I always have a bottle of Otrivine in my pocket as I suffer the same problem. Lemsip also do a decongetant spray and this is a good alternative if you can't find Otrivine.

Pipecleaners
OK, this sounds a little bit gross, but it works.
fill up the bathtub/sink/basin with hot water, stick your face into it and blow. It sounds totally gross, but it releives pressure on the sinuded (because of the hot) and it lets you get rid of the mucus without haveing to keep rubbing yuor nose and making it all red.
Nettle tincture - 20 drops in water after a meal, morning and afternoon/evening, works for me
Steaminhalation with vicks will do the trick, or use a saline spraybottle and fill it with saltwater, and spray it regularly up your nose. it will keep it clear.
