Have a look at Parkinsons Uk website.

My sister passed away last year after long yrs of suffering with this illness.
Speech and eating was a big problem for her, and her face had a fixed zombie type of look, and she always seemed to stare while talking to us in her later months.
Parkinsons is a difficult thing to understand.
My wife has great difficulty in speaking although she is very alert mentally and finds it so frustrating having to repeat almost everything she says.
Still keeps her sense of humour though for which I'm truly grateful.
It all just seems so hard to bear.
