I thought that I would ask what you are allergic to, but did not know which category it should be put. If it is right, all well and good. If not, no spoony award to myself.

My allergies include salt, banana, garlic, beetroot, vinegar, rye-grass, and moths.

The last is the strangest, as they make me itch terribly, and is a good indicator for me to know that a moth is somewhere in the house. What are your allergies?

jomifl: I am allergic to salt - or, precisely the high sodium content in salt. I do use salt when I am cooking, to the annoyance of my family, and no do I put it on my food - if I do I pass out.

I think some people believe the word 'allergy' is equivalent to 'dislike' or 'fear'. A fear of something could engender a physical reaction though.

Wood is an unusual allergy, to me that is, that is why I picked it as BA. And give a platinum spoony.

Dried onions....................I come up in huge red bumps which itch, but only from the knees downwards.

Pollen, but only a certain type that usually appears around mid June - makes my eyes itch like a mufu and my nose feel like I've just tooted some chilli powder!

I'm allergic to Calcium and vitD tablets because I come out in hives. Eggs occasionally make me sick after I've eaten one fried/boiled or omelette. Other than that I don't know. I suffer from eczema which comes and goes around my nose and lips and my hairline not sure what causes it or if it is a stress/nervous illness. How do you know you are allergic to the things you mention spoonboy?

My daughter has allergies to grass, grass pollen, wheat and barley. She has anaphylactic reactions to these substances, has to carry and anapen (epipen but easier to use) with her at all times and has nearly died twice because of these allergies.
