Scarey Dream
17 Answers
I woke-up myself this morning praying - "God heal me from this cancer".
All day at work I thought of this dream, and couldn't get it off my mind.
Before going to bed last night I looked at a movie called 'The Intruders', and it was about ghosts haunting a house. Nothing about the sick, lame or anything of the sort.
What do you think about dreams? Do you believe in your dreams?
How profound do you think dreams are? Some say they are our subconscious speaking to us about past or future life.

I think it's to do with your subconscious.
I've had some recurring dream types where there are different circumstances but a common theme, I think when I feel stressed or out of control etc...
I have a lot of very vivid dreams, I always did but since I've been on certain medication it's increased. It sometimes takes me a while to realise I was dreaming and something didn't actually happen.

I've had an occasional recurring dream but one that kept on and on many years ago I didn't like at all. Having lost touch with in laws for a few years, I kept getting the dream of OH going to visit his parents but telephoning me to say "it was too late, his mother had died". I didn't put much store by it, but a few months later we were in the area his family lived and I said he should go and knock their door. When we did, a neighbour came out and told him his mother had died and it was around the time I was having the recurring dream.... I've had other cognitive dreams over the years and they have come true....don't know how and why they happen but they have.
As for scary dreams, yes we all get them...probably as Eve said, many reasons and shouldn't really put any significance on them imo.

Why can't they be put down to coincidence?
Actually despite that I don't think you should ignore dreams entirely, but most of them are just random noise. I can't think of a profound dream I've ever had but some idle thoughts while half-asleep have been surprisingly profound. At least, profound in terms of whatever small problem I was working on.

Thanks my friend for sharing your thoughts on this subject.
My belief is that dreams are occurrences from passed life, or something to do with future life happenings. It could be about the actual dreamer or someone the dreamer may know.
I like to dream, and usually I dream straight according to my interpretation.
