Fluoride Or Fluoride Free Toothpaste?
6 Answers
I have always chosen fluoride free toothpaste but can't really say that I understand why or what the affects of fluoride are, positive or negative. I just avoid additives whenever I can.
However I'm forever at the dentist for fillings, crowns and root canal. should I reconsider?
Or like my sister who will use whatevers cheapest in the supermarket, do we just have weak teeth that need lots of treatment?

But we gave jno jnr fluoride drops in his drink 30 years ago and he's never so much as had a filling. One of the few things I've got right as a parent.
Toothpaste, I don't know, but is it any worse than ony of the other things in the tube?

\\\So if I have dental problems, would it be of benefit to find a fluoride supplement which I can take Sqad? \\\
My opinion....fluoride makes little or no difference to the quality of dentine.
Another scientific subject where you can find a study to argue for your case or indeed against it.
Take your pick............(pun intended..;-)
