I rarely watch but I suppose it would affect me as I'd have no questions to answer on here about trailer/ad tunes.
Did you mean to put this in Body&Soul?
No problem for me i rarely watch TV, don't even like being in a room with a TV set on.

factor-fiction - wasn't sure about best category, couldn't decide whether it was actually related to 'media and tv' or not...
I'm not a TV fan, and it's rarely on in our house so nothing much to usual- music, reading, going out etc
Its a swizz having to pay the licence fee for constant repeats.
Well, I have been away from my TV for several months. Computer and smart phone will be enough
Not much change for me, I only watch about an hours TV a week, much too busy being retired.
Read. It's not that big a deal, our Tv doesn"t work so Use I-player. When I lived alone I had quite a few years without owning a telly.
I think it would give us an opportunity to converse in more depth than the statutory grunt one gets if trying to talk to person in front of a tv ! We might get some diy done ...loads of odd jobs to do. We might walk for pleasure , we have some beautiful walks nearby. We would listen to music, there are a lot of good sounds out there. We might even perk up a little if we stop watching news programmes, or doom and gloom show as we call them. Oh it sounds marvellous, when is it going to happen ?
News on radio. Read. Embroider. Make clothes for self and others. Weeding. Evening classes. Dance. Meet friends.
Now I come to think of it I can't think why I even bother turning on the television news, which is all I use it for.
Surf & Sleep.
I don't watch TV so it wouldn't bother me in the slightest :)
If BBC radio was included I should be in real trouble, otherwise, couldn't care less. Didn't a recent survey of viewing habits conclude that families were increasingly sitting round the TV but everyone doing their own thing on laptops and mobile phones
I' d just sit here on Answerbank :-) the TV's not on at the moment, I only watch if there's something I want to watch. Wouldn't bother me at all.
As long as I have Radio 4, It wouldn't bother me much. I'd miss Corrie though
Hundreds of channels of rubbish.

I could live without it.
What I do even if I have the TV on. Read.
Do enjoy AB though.
I think there could be a baby boom nine months later.
Could live without a TV but not without books or my radio
