I take my medication with whatever im drinking at the time ( not alcohol ) LOL
that depends on the medication but by and large no it doesn't, although I did know a chap who took his Parkinson's meds with neat vodka and plenty of it.....that did cause problems.
I would say it doesn't matter.
there are some things that don't go with grapefruit juice

Most things do go with alcohol. There are one or two that are definitely no nos but generally you can take your medication with booze.
Nobody avoids alcohol in residential homes, no matter what medication they're on. It's not excessive, though.

That garpefruit juice is a bugger/ menace , isn't it ?
Bazile........LOL......it is only a matter of time before it comes up on ALL medical threads.

If you want a glass of grapefruit juice for breakfast and you were on the dozens of drugs it is "supposed" to interact with......then i would have a glass.

I think that this drug interaction is well and truly overplayed.

sqad - have you a good attorney to fight all these law suits from people who will act on your advice and claim that any adverse symptoms are due to the grapefruit juice ? :-)
sqad, you do ' a trial ' and publish the results on AB.
anne/Bazille....LOL
It goes down well with a pint of pickle juice.
Certain antibiotics must not be taken at the same time as milk
The bloke who I knew who washed down his Parkinson Meds with neat vodka had the most amazing hallucinations because of it. We visited his house and found his bedroom door locked from the inside and once we got in. the wardrobe had been turned over and the back broken into. But it was a LOT of vodka.
