They organise week-long, residential breaks for adults to enjoy a restful break in pleasant surroundings while also providing the chance to tackle stress-related problems.

The name Batah comes from the Hebrew word meaning 'resting so that strength can come back to you'. The Batah Foundation, a registered charity, hopes to be an antidote to what we now call the 'long hours culture'.
The foundation is dedicated to helping people under pressure, to rest and re-evaluate their lives and goals. Its breaks provide a week of rest and recuperation with time to stand back and take stock.
