Dancing

Women can dance, and (most) men cannot.   Many men seem to have little or no co-ordination or displays of rhythm.  After all, no-one says "dance like your mum".

Why is this?

My personal opinion is that it's a trend thing. These days it's just not cool for men to be seen wiggling their hips! But it was only a few decades ago when dance halls were the place to be and it was down to the men to grab a dance partner and jive their a$$es off! But people don't really dance as 'couples' anymore.

I've been doing salsa for years and I know some amazing male dancers. In fact, in quite a few of the classes the men outnumber the women.

my boyfriend dances a lot better than me. I think maybe men tend to be a bit stiff about it but he's the kind of type who doesn't give a damn when dancing. Isn't worried about what other people might think and he just lets loose. He's very much like Jay Kay and is all over the place.

How true your statement is.  My husband is not allowed to dance and nor is my Dad, it seems they are dancing to a completely different tune in their head to the one that is being played.  My 6 year olds son brought his school report home a couple of weeks ago which stated 'Sam likes dancing but has trouble doing this in time to the music', poor sod, yet my 4 year old daughter will keep you entertained for hours

The good thing about the dancing/ not dancing thing is that when you find one that can, they're normally always great in bed!!!

Its all about rhythmn and timing after all!

For any single men out there:
My dad took professional dance classes about 5 years ago - and ever since, he's been fighting women off! He says it's wonderful. If he goes somewhere there is dancing, none of the men will dance, so all the women fight over him. He's growing old discracefully -his last marriage was to a woman 2 years older than me who looked like a model, and his latest relationship is with a woman 3 years YOUNGER than me. So if you want a good tip to pick up women - learn to dance!

I can't dance at all (I'm female).� In fact I can't even clap in time with the rest of the audience when I go to the theatre (how bad is that!!??) LOL

At a club one night i spotted a gal who was sooo fine,  i decided to try and woo by strutting my stuff beside her, pulling my best moves and putting myself out there to be judged. Didnt work. She later told my mate (who she copped off with) she had thought i was gay because of the way i danced. Havent been out on the pull since. :(

if most men have no rhythm, then why are there more male than female drummers? ive also found them more likely to tap their fingers or improvise beats as a nervous habit than girls.

There's definitley a direct correlation between how well a man dance and how well he performs in bed. FACT!
