Eye Lash Extensions Or Whatever They're Called

What with all the make up free selfies that have been floating around on FB over the last few days, I've noticed that it looks like people are wearing mascara but I presume it's the eye lash extensions.

Has anyone on here had them done? They look good and I'm wondering if it's worth getting them done for my holiday so I don't have to take any make up (or make up remover) with me.

What's perming Voddie, do you need long lashes to start with?

It depends if you have the individual more expensive lashes put on which last longer and you can get them on a groupon type deal for about £20 instead of £80 for example. To get them to last longer you have to treat them well ie not rubbing them all the time. Yes you can swim with them ect but will shortern their life but if Just for two weeks then they will be fine. The other type of eyelash extension are cluster lashes they are cheaper to put on and don't last as long (I prefer the look of these) but they won't last very long in the sea ect as the glue used to put them on isn't as strong as the one used for individual lashes.

Being from Yorkshire and naturally economical with my money, I booked an appointment with the health & beauty department at a local college. The students are crying out for customers for all types of treatments. I had an eyelash perm and tint and it looked fab and lasted for 3 weeks.
It cost me £2.50

Waaaaaayyyy back in 1972, I got Everlashes fitted. They lasted "up to 6 weeks". Load of poo. They lasted about 2 weeks but they looked ok. I suppose , 42 years later, they have improved a million per cent and will last MUCH longer. Excellent idea for holidays or a special occasion.

Mind you, I once went to the local college as my friend's daughter was a student and she needed to do make up on a more mature lady (i.e. over 25). The instructor specified it had to be day make up.
I went straight from there to pick up one of the offspring from school.
One of my friends at the school gate made the comment that I looked like a Vegas hooker!
