Lsore And Swollen Finger ... Part 2
32 Answers
My finger didn't feel so bad yesterday so I managed to convince myself that it was getting better.
This morning it was agony and I couldn't bend it. I phoned NHS 24 and they told me to go to the out of hours centre. I am now home with some Flucloxacillin 500mg and some chocolate covered raisins to cheer me up.
Thanks for all your advice

Thanks to y'all.
I actually responded to you earlier but I was using my Kindle and my hands shake at the best of times ~ my finger jerked at the wrong moment and I ended up in a site selling dresses (aka frocks) so I gave up.
I have to give NHS Tayside 15/10 for their performance.
I spoke to a handler who got someone to phone me back, the second person said that I would have to go to the out of hours bit at our local hospital.
I was given an appointment for this and when I got there I was seen almost immediately by a nurse who could prescribe drugs.
Alas my finger still hurts. The chocolate covered raisins were beautiful .

Will try that again and see if it works this time.
**Doctor Sqad says: You are both making a big deal over the advice concerning the treatment of a swollen finger.
But ... it is MYsore finger so that makes it important to me.
To be honest I was expecting the Flucloxacillin to have started zapping the germs by now. I might have to buy something else nice to eat to see if that makes it feel better(er) :-)
