It's only to remove a nasty seborrheic keratosis (apologies for spelling, ruddy spell check is no help).
I don't know if I should drive, or get a taxi.
I am assuming a local anesthetic, how long till I feel pain again afterwards.

Hi, Ferlew....no idea what it is but I have moles removed at the surgery and it's not too bad at all.....and I always drive....
