Pooing a brick.
It's only to remove a nasty seborrheic keratosis (apologies for spelling, ruddy spell check is no help).
I don't know if I should drive, or get a taxi.
I am assuming a local anesthetic, how long till I feel pain again afterwards.

You'll be fine, ferlew. Maybe a bit sore, but fine. xx

Ferlew, they'll look after you, may be uncomfortable but you won't be incapacitated, play it by ear, don't try and rush things, you'll be fine.
if you possibly can, i wouldnt drive. the relief of it being over might make you feel a bit wobbley
take the ibuprofen, ferlew; you are okay to drive.....I've had them.
Bernie....if we lose people like you then the misery guts will take over, there will be no humour and then Ferlew will never recover.....☺
not on my bra line though...... :-/
just my opinion gness xx things seem different on here that's all, right off to bed at hospital 9.00 in morning xx take care
Hope all goes well at the hospital, Bernie. x
Ferlew, I had minor surgery in the GP practice a few months back to take off a skin lesion, I went to work on the bus afterwards - they give you aftercare notes, it really is nothing to worry about. They just said not to exert for 24 hours, it was fine. Good luck for tomorrow.
thx tilly xx
Best of luck, bernie. Mrs av is in for an op on Friday morning.
Good luck both of you - same hospital perhaps?
I do not think you are covered by insurance if you drive yourself xx
She's only having a local, HW - IMO that wouldn't be a problem, but I didn't want to drive, just in case I felt a bit shaky.
All the best to you ferlew, you'll be fine I'm sure, hope it goes well for the doctor. Xx
It is illegal to drive whilst you are under the influence of drugs and this includes anaesthetics and some painkillers. Your car insurance cover may be affected if you drive when we have advised you not to.

Taken from my hospital admission sheet! X
Goodness!
hoping its all over by now?

Hello, the Wimp is back.
I am fine, although I worked myself up to such a pitch, I laid there like a flipping jelly, quivering away.
It is all gone, and I did not feel a thing.
Thanks for your support, and best wishes to Mrs Av and Bernie, for their procedures.

Well done you!
