What shampoo do people recommend for keeping blonde highlights from fading and going dull?

I currently use Kerastase Bain De Force which is great for strength...but could it be making my highlights fade as aftter a week of highlights being done, the colour has already lost vibrancy.

Do products like Loreal Elvive Colour Protect really work and are UV filters going to make much difference?

I like the John Frieda range too. It is often on offer (3 for £10) at Asda.

thanks tried those before and did not get on that well with them...any thoughts on uv filters or the loreal shampoo as mentioned?
I keep going back to Loreal Elvive despite trying many other brands.

My hairdresser recommended some of the 'purple' shampoos to stop my blonde highlights from going brassy coloured. I didn't like the effect though because it turned my hair into a more platinum blonde which didn't really suit me.

Hope you find something that works for you but I would recommend the Elvive range as long as you use Shampoo, Conditioner and hair mask. xx
