heh heh. i know this sounds odd. but i have some "silver" jewellery that is actually just copper/bronze coloured with silver over the top. this being quite cheap the silver has started to come off and im left with a nasty mixture of copper and silver. you know what i mean? this looks yuck. i want to know if theres anyway of getting rid of the remaining silver so it can all be the bronzey colour. any ideas? (sorry this post got so long)
Try sand,I have a bronze, copper, brass bangle I got in the gambia 20yrs ago,the lady I bought it from buffed it up in the damp sand and I've done so ever since.comes up really nice.
