Tooth Comes Out Tomorrow
12 Answers
Well this time tomorrow I will be back home hopefully my tooth comes out tomorrow afternoon at 3. It has had an abscess twice. I take a hefty dose of Lorezapam so I know I will feel much better when it kicks in. I just hope they manage to stop the bleeding Ok I'm on a blood thinner similar to warfarin for atrial fibrillation my doc says to miss out tonight's dose so blood might be a bit thicker my mind is working overtime imagining all sorts

I had a back tooth (wisdom) extracted a couple of weeks ago, and it's amazing how quick the procedure is and how good the pain relief is when it kicks in.
They'll give you a couple of gauze pads to go home with just in case (you can pop them in if the bleeding takes a while to stop).
Just remember to brush your teeth with caution for a few days afterwards and keep away from crisps and crusty bread for a bit ;-)
Good Luck

I'm the worlds biggest baby as far as dentists go, im even a gibbering wreak going for check ups, and im that petrified I won't even let them do a scale and polish so you have my full sympathy.
However I had two abscesses (one on each lower wisdom tooth) some years ago, and the relief when I had them taken out was immediate and immense, as yours will be. Chin up and keep thinking of the pain free time afterwards.
Good luck!
