Breast Cancer

I'm beyond shocked - a recent mammogram detected an " area of interest" and after a visit to the breast clinic yesterday, a further scan and biopsies have revealed Ca breast. Nothing was found in the lymph glands and I'm going back in a few days to discuss the removal of lump and surrounding tissue and further treatment. I'm just past myself, Dr and staff were amazing but I just can't get my head around it or imagine what is ahead of me.

Thank you Rocky, it's the waiting and not knowing that is tormenting me. They said they'd discuss the "staging" and "after care" on Monday, but for now I'm letting my mind runaway with me. They gave me a sleeping tablet to take last night which definitely helped but tonight I'm just over-thinking things.
