Tesco have one at £2,
Although commonly called "liquid soap", these products are invariably detergent-based...no soap in them at all.
That said, you could buy a fragrance-free liquid handwash and add a few drops of either peppermint or spearmint essential oil (both are quite inexpensive) and mix well.

thank you anneasquith and gingejbee.....I'll try both ideas...
Note: Real peppermint oil is extremely strong, and may be expensive. Peppermint essence is not. If using peppermint oil, start with a very small amount and add it very gradually. It can irritate very sensitive skin, or children's skin, if used neat. You may be lucky and find peppermint oil with a dropper. Try Baldwin's.

@atlanta...real peppermint oil (not essence, not fragrance oil) is, as I said, quite cheap...£1.39 for 10ml for example (eBay). Spearmint oil is a bit pricier. As you can see, I did say "add a few drops"...meaning to a whole 200 or 250ml of handwash.
Boots are selling the 'Original Source' mint and tea tree hand wash for £1 at the mo. Not sure if you like tea tree though.
