Decaf Coffee ..

Having read up on things that contribute to 'hot flushes' .. I find out caffeine is a trigger. So, I look in to decaf & find that decaf coffee isn't totally decaffeinated & isn't that great for you either! http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2014/08/25/truth-about-decaf-coffee/

Yes divebuddy, but according to the link .. the process of making coffee decaf interfere with mineral absorption.

I'm on iron tabs at the moment for anaemia, coffee is prob not helping me. Thanks for your thoughts/ contribution divebuddy x
If you are looking for semi-skim why not mix decaf & normal in the ratio you want ?

Hi OG, I'm trying to go decaffeinated altogether. I've just bought some chicory coffee, it's an o.k -ish substitute ... if I must! ;0)

When I was going through the worst of the hot flushes, I gave up tea and coffee entirely. Did it make a difference? Did it bogroll!

woof, apologies, I've only just seen this. I agree, there's not a lot helps ... although alcohol is definitely a trigger!
