I'm 15 almost 16 and i've never had a boyfriend in my life. I'm 5'1 a size 11 and 12 (depends on the clothes are made) big butt (but nice) I think I look cute but for some reason i've never been asked out on a date. Is it because people think i'm fat, ugly? or they think i'm not worth it?

You're almost 16, no age at all. Lots more important things that you should be thinking about than dates

Advice girl, iwbus obviously doesn't remember the woes of being a teenager!

I'm sure there is absolutely nothing wrong with you, you just have to be patient sweetheart.  Remembering back to my teenage years, I didn't ever have a BF from my own school.  There was a whole gang of us who went ice-skating every friday and Saturday night (it was an ice skating disco type thing) and I met guys from other school that I ended up going out with, why don't you give something like that a try?  If there is guy you have your eye on, why don't you just pluck up the courage and ask him out?  It 'is' a scary thought and an even scarier thing to do but it's over in seconds and I think you might be pleasantly surprised by the results.  Good luck xx

iwbus remember not having a laydee until he was 21.....
Believe me love you dont need to be in a hurry to get a boyfriend. You have the rest of your life to be in a relationship enjoy your single time and your mates and wait for a nice bloke to come along that deserves you
iwbus, I my comment wasn't intended to be nasty, sorry if it was picked up like that.  If this is the case that you didn't have a GF until you were 21 then (hopefully) you will remember the same concerns as advicegirl.  As a fully grown adult I know that she'll look back on this and and know that it was no big deal really but I don't think telling her that she has plenty time to find someone is what she needs to hear right now.  Sorry if I sounded rude, it was never my intention :-)

advicegirl, It's not all about how a person looks, confidence / personality goes a long way.... you know you're not fat and ugly, you said it yourself in your thread.  Try not to focus on having a boyfriend spend more time having fun with your friends, your confidence will flourish and guys will be more attracted to that.

The most important thing is that you said YOU think you look cute, because as long as you are confident and happy in yourself dont worry what others are thinking. When I was 15 I could`nt pull a muscle yet alone a girl. But I was still full of confidence, which shone out, Now 20 odd years down the line I`m married, with 2 kids, the only thing I pull now are muscles!
Yo Go get em Sister!

I got together with my first boyfriend exactly a month after my 16th birthday... and to be honest, I wish we'd remained as firm friends as we were.

And from the description you've given, that should neither put off or interest potential boyfriends as you should be looking for someone who's interested in you, not your appearance.

Good God! I didn't start any of that sort of thing till I was 18 (am 21 now). There is no golden age for having a boyfriend. Wait till you actually like someone - there is nothing more dull than dating for the sake of it (trust me)! I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with your looks. In life there will always be people who will find you attractive and those who don't. Just enjoy being so free and young, a boyfriend will come along when you least expect it!
