Well perming only affects hair that is sticking out of the head which, from memories of O level biology, is dead, so I can't see how it can affect it.

some pills do affect perms but I don't think paracetamol is one of them

What makes you think it will, Yesterday? Has someone said something to you about it?
Not heard that one but I do rememebr a hairdresser telling me that a perm was affected by a woman's menstrual cycle and not to have it done during a period - I often wondered if he was just being fresh.
some people do think that, Prudie, but it looks as though it's a myth

Having your hair permed clearly coats in in a chemical. I can see this affecting your sensitivity to some medications, as in JNO's first response. As I said earlier, the hair being permed is dead, so I can't see anything you're taking now affecting the perm. Hair grows at approx 1 inch per month so, if you were on some medication a few months ago that could possibly affect the perm taking.
