Asthma

Hello, My boyfriend has had a cold for the last few days and now his Asthma is playing up and he is feeling really weezy. He doesn't have an Asthma pump with him and can't get hold of one until tomorrow. Does anyone know of anything that might make him feel better until then?

Steam kazzee69..Lots of it. A big bowl of boiling water,tell your BF to sit over it with a towel over his head.make sure his face is covered and let him inhale the steam as it opens the airways.

And please urge him to always have an inhaler on him, you never know when mild asthma will suddenly become serious. My doctors lets me have 2 inhalers so that I can keep one at home and one in my handbag.

I know... I get really angry with him because his Asthma is mild but he never has an inhaler with him. He is lucky his brother is Asthmatic too, and that he is giving him his spare pump coz otherwise he wouldn't be able to get hold of one until the perscription is done.
