How long have you had this? Have you sat awkwardly lately or for a long time on a not particularly comfortable seat?
Sciatica last year? Maybe slightly returned as it does once you have it. Do you have any cream or gel you can spread on the area thats hurting?
I would go to see your GP if it persists this week and see what they think.
Sometimes our body tells us we slept awkwardly so could be just a tweak.
Does your pain run up your lower back too ? As I said could be nothing or just a slight nerve tweak.
Good luck and hope you get better x

Not sure what you mean by "bottom."
Do you mean the the large muscles upon which you sit or do you mean the very specific area "inside" your anus?
You comment of "no piles" leads me to believe that it is inside the anus that is causing the problem and that has nothing to do with sciatica or "nerve tweaks."
Depending upon your reply.....Google Proctalgia Fugax.......that might be a consideration .

Thanks for all your replies, thanks squad as well, sounds very much like anal pain, sore when sitting but is okay when I am on my feet. And it doesn't go away as in every time I sit etc and the pressure is worse when I go to stand but once up and moving its okay, and if I run, its sore also(dont run that much, just to get the heart pumping lol) , so not much to o about it?
