I have had a pressure ulcer on one of my toes for over 8 weeks, two lots of antibiotics later and dressing it every day I am still struggling to get it to heal. It is very painful and is really getting me down, any suggestions to help me to get it healed up I would be most grateful for.

have you seen your practice nurse?
in the absence of a professional seeing it/professional dressings, try some manuka honey under the dressing
Manuka honey .Cleared an ulcer on my leg pdq.
My brother also had a nasty ulcer on his leg recently and they applied manuka honey dressings at the clinic and it's cleared up nicely. You can but try.
Do you know what the underlying cause of the ulcer was as some medical issues, eg diabetes, can also slow healing. Are you getting any treatment from a health professional and if not why not?
I agree with the post of woofgang.........why is it slow to heal?
?Underlying conditions e.g Diabetes, Poor circulation.
