I don't buy lipstick very often but had reason to treat myself recently and bought a Max Factor Colour Elixir Giant Penstick. The lipstick itself is great, lots of pigment so you don't need to put much on.
The problem is there doesn't seem to be any way to turn the thing to make more lipstick appear. It looks like a fat colouring pencil, made of plastic instead of wood, so I don't think it would be sharpenable.
Anyone got one? Any ideas how to get more lipstick out?
Thanks.

I know I'm a bloke, but anything for a gold Star... Boots Sharpeners: http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SolrSearchLister?storeId=10052&langId=-1&catalogId=11051&stReq=1&searchTerm=sharpener#container

Rather late now but the reviews bear out your experience - it does require sharpening which is difficult it seems. Most call it a waste of money.

Just done a quick Google, and Max Factor claim that Boots sell a double-holed Sharpener big enough to fit it. Or, if you've got something it will fit into, MF recommend putting the Penstick in the Freezer and it will sharpen easier.

Thank you both.
First thing I did was consult mr. Google, I was wondering if anyone here had one themselves and had a magic solution which actually worked. Off to Boots for a sharpener it is then.
Stephen, you shall go to the ball :)
Only if I can borrow your lippy when you've sharpened it!
I`ve got an eyebrow pencil that is plastic. Even though I have a sharpener that fits, I can`t sharpen it as the blade won`t go through the plastic. It`ll be interesting to see how you get on.
Know how you feel. I bought an eyeshadow stick and have the same problem.
