I want to print some A5 booklets, so I will need to print on both sides, I want a reasonable quality paper that wont bleed through, I also dont want to be spending a fortune on it.

Any ideas?

I do double sided printing quite often and I just use ordinary copy paper. I've never had any problems with bleed.

Jools, I always get through on copy paper, I need something a little better quality, it needs to look a little better quality.
I used to do a lot of double sided printing and 90gsm was thick enough to stop the print showing through, although it was mostly text.
I've also used normal copy paper for double-sided printing with no problems. However, if you want a better quality, go to somewhere like Staples where they have more choice, and buy the next weight of paper up from your usual choice. It shouldn't be much more expensive.
Staples own brand 90 gsm paper is very good for leaflets - it's a bit more robust than standard copy paper (which is usually 70 or 80gsm) and has a slightly shiny finish.

Usually on offer for about £5 or so a ream.
Snap and indeed Ditto, cloverjo :)

Thanks all! :-)
Ratter, I print about 3000 double sided pages a month. I use Initiative Office Paper, 80gsm. Economical and it does the job with no problems.

I use HP Bright White Inkjet Paper for all of my routine printing. At 90gsm is has a much better quality 'feel' to it than ordinary (80gsm) paper, as others have mentioned above. It should certainly meet your requirements.

250 sheets will cost you £3.75 in both Sainsbury's and Tesco.
Don't forget.....you may need to adjust your printer's settings

The problem is I want A5 not A4, then the price shoots up for paper half the size, I paid £15.00 for 500 sheets of 100 gsm and I got bleed through!! Grrr. not pleased!

The problem is Pixie, is that our booklet has 4 pages they would cost me a fortune for the amount I want, where if I can get the paper at the right price and quality I can print them myself for a few pence each.
