I'm waxing my moustache so it will grow out sideways instead of down over my lip. Will it eventually grow that way or will I always have to wax it to stay that way?

I think you will have to keep waxing it Ratter, if that gets tedious try super glue ;-)

No Tony, lol I am far too sophisticated :-) and no razors either!!
try training your nose hairs Ratter - absolute hell .....
moustaches are subject to gravity the same as hair is; you'll need wax

I'm going more for this beard/moustache combo. https://fearsomebeard.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/image21.jpg
dinnae dinnae Ratter...'orrible 'orrible..you look fine and dandy now ..!

I like my beards, I have had beards on and off most of my life, I just fancy going a further this time and going EPIC!!
nooo..dinnae !

I understand gravity affecting my moustache but will the hair actually grow in downward direction once trained or will it it eventually be encouraged to grow out sideways.

At the moment, there appears to be a lot of hairs mostly trying to defy gravity and grow upwards to tickle my nose, drives me mad. Once all the hairs are long enough that will stop, hopefully. :-)
a quick google tells me you can pay thirty quid for a tin of moustache wax, the world's gone mad :-)

Question Author
aelmpvw, yes I'm sure you can, I have never seen it that expensive. I pay around £7.00 and that's about the going rate, and that will last for a year + I would imagine.
Santa will tell you if you have been good - ho ho ho

Try Superglue!
Oh no. I detest moustaches and beards. Especially when bits of food get stuck in it.
Question Author
Then I may suggest you don't grow one yourself Samuraisan.
Oh I won't Ratter. Regularly go and have a wax.

Sorry, I've no wish to upset Ratter but I just can't believe the vanity involved in This post!
A £7 tin wouldn't last a year keeping this in shape.
