Just to please other Religions? I'm talking about the lastest load of BULL, Easter Eggs as I mentioned a day or so ago, this is the UK, we were born / brought up in the UK, I like the UK, you are welcomed " I think to the UK" we have our customs in the UK, we've always had customs in the UK, if you don't know what our customs are about, read about our customs, if you don't like our customs, you know what to do! choose another sh---- hole, like the one you are leaving, "SIMPLE"

I don't know if this is true. I don't buy them, so haven't looked. There was a big crowd around the Easter egg display in my local Tesco yesterday, though, so most of us aren't really bothered, I guess.
Perhaps it's not a case of offending non-Christians. Calling them Easter eggs sort of implies "for Christians"; calling them chocolate eggs means anyone can eat them who likes chocolate, along with increased sales. Similar to the New Zealanders not calling their lamb halal - it causes a lot of people not to buy it.
Easter has been written in the main wording on the boxes for easter eggs for years - if you turn it around you will see the wording on the back! The chocolate eggs you buy has more to do with advertising than with Easter.
How many people actually know what the 'Easter Egg' is supposed to represent? And how many chocolate eggs actually do what they are supposed to do?

Rather than designed to wind people up, it is actually designed to sell more eggs. To make more money for the manufacturer.
