I was recently informed that these two terms refer to different bodily functions, having seemingly grown up not being told anything properly here. The bliss of ignorance. Can anybody please enlighten me?

I suppose a man can have an orgasm without ejaculating. I'm not a man so can't say for sure. I'm interested in the answer so didn't want to see your question disappearing down the Latest Post list.
As a bloke, I've never orgasmed without an ejaculation.
women frequently have orgasms without ejaculation, so yes, they're different things. Men can separate them out too (that's what tantric sex is about).

99% of the time, they are the same thing.
Women can ejaculate during orgasm, men can orgasm without ejaculation.
Surely one is the emission of bodily fluids etc. whilst the other is the accompanying feeling of euphoria ? If going the whole night the first four or five times they may happen at the same time. After that the former is difficult to achieve without a nap and a bowl of shredded wheat first.
Old Geezer you are so funny.... And going the whole night? The mind boggles. I wonder how many Abers have looked at this post?
Once managed 6 times in 1 night.........fuel tank was showing empty at Close of Play!
Old Geezer bet you have 3 shreddies lol
Orgasm is pleasure. Ejaculation is what you get if you talk about it round here!
