How long can a person take paracetamol for long term use before or if any liver damage is done, on standard dose of 8 in 24 hours

Can't answer that other than to say I was getting constant daily headaches for months (I had reasons), and was taking the full daily allowance. To my knowledge it did me no harm at all.

From what the hospice told me - you can use paracetamol long term as long as you stay within the recommended dose.

My husband has been on 2 paracetamol 4 times a day for the last 17 years.
