Even if it had a small effect on metabolism or whatever it isn't going to be significant or they'd be raved about everywhere. Green tea has been around for ages so it'd have been noticed.
The healthy diet is the way to go. Be disciplined and you can lose a few pounds in a week or two. It's keeping it off that one has to keep an eye on.

green tea capsules ( just bought them from ebay this morning ) are not a " miracle product " nor do i think they are.
i am only asking do they really help in " speeding up" the weight loss obviously with a controlled diet lifestyle plan.
just wanted to hear from anyone on here that has taken them and at least felt a difference .

Ditch the white carbs diesal...then you'll start to lose some weight.
I keep going on about this,( no one listens,though... lol), and that "eat less do more" doesn't work...all you do is feel hungry. I read about recent research that shows reducing caloric intake for long periods causes the body to kind of "reset" what it needs...permanently...to a lower requirement.

Green tea can help you lose weight - if you don't drink it normally.
Any kind of dietary change like this can, if you're not used to it, cause a bit of a "clear out" in your guts because it will act as a minor irritant.
So it might mean you literally lose weight. But it won't "burn fat".
Never seen the capsules, but if they're harmless, and they help in some form, have a go :)

They act as a diuretic (promoting the production of urine) and therefore green tea is used by those who want to detox - so make sure you are drinking plenty of water.
Green tea claims to detoxify and keep the immune and circulatory systems ticking over efficiently - but there isn't a huge amount of science behind the claim. Arthritis, cholesterol and joint problems are other things that green tea "may" help with. Risk wise - it may give you a dicky stomach.
When used as part of a healthy diet, green tea is worth trying but I wouldn't bank on shifting a great deal by just drinking teas.
Hope that helps
