T'ai chi, as my kung fu nut brother tells me, is a derivation of T'ai chi Chuan originally a boxing style of martial art - the one they use in that Crouching tiger, hidden dragon film out recently. However, Tai chi is a branch of this particularly concerned with Daoisim and spiritual growth and using the body as a self healing tool. Tai chi consists of 108 specific physical moves in a specific order. These slow meditative movements work with the eastern paradigm of energy pathways as well as helping to deiliver oxygen and nutrition to all parts of the body.
