I have had two molars removed in the last few years and both had "Curly Wurly" roots. The guy kept repeating that there was no problem and it would be out in a minute - for the best bit of half an hour. It hurt badly and I went to see my doctor for painkillers.
You will be okay but it was weeks before my mouth felt normal.
The other option was root canal treatment and I honestly couldn't be bothered with that.

Hope that your recovery is quick. I had a three out a a few years ago and implants inserted. I am very pleased with the result. They help prevent bone loss though the gums still recede a bit, but worth it in my opinion.

you are allowed five more grams within the next twenty four hours
if you wake tonight - fevered brow etc - Macbeth hath murdered sleep all that sort of thing - then break thro pain can betreated with ibuprofen
take another two tablets on waking and thereafter four spaced out during the day
