I am so tired at the minute.  Am definatly coming down with a cold or something but I'm also very hungry all the time and just want to sleep.  I don't have time to just sleep when I want, What can I do to pep me up a bit?

it the changing of the seasons - no one wants to get out of bed we are all tired and down.  The clocks go back at the end of the month and that should help a bit.
could be you need a blood test it may be an under active thyroid
Try taking Berocca, that is good for a boost.
Just sleep and listen to your body.In the long run you wont have to take much time off and you will feel better. Why fight it?

Hi K99,

I feel exactly the same as you. I have felt like it all week. Last week I had the flu, not really bad as I managed to work but I had a really bad cold and felt all achey. This week I have just felt continuously exhausted. I'm now so glad it's the weekend! I am also really hungry all the time (not sure what that is though!!)

I think it's just this bug that's going round as like you I really don't think I'm preggers!!! Pill and all that. Just try and boost yourself with vitamins maybe and have agood nights sleep although if it's this illness it prob won't work.

Hope you feel better soon.

K99,you're just running out of steam!!You need to slow down!Think about it,you're hungry and you're tired.Simple solution would be food and rest.So cancel your plans for tonight.Switch off your phone, get some delicious food and lie up and rest. After a good mental and physical rest you'll be raring to go again.Alternatively ginseng tablets are a great quick fix!!
Maybe some dietary changes might help. All foods contain sugar, but different types of food release this sugar at different rates. Anything sugary, made with white flour, containing caffeine, alcohol and or certain fruits (bananas & grapes) all release sugar quickly. This will give you a quick burst of energy but will ultimately leave you feeling groggy and hungry again in no time. Whole grains, nuts seeds, meats, fish, vegetables and all other fruits than those mentioned before release sugar slowly, and will therefore give you energy over a longer period of time, plus youll feel fuller for longer. If you think it may be this than you can find loads of info on the net, just do a search for low blood sugar. Also, make sure you drink LOADS of water! Hope youre feeling better soon.
Get a blood test and find out if you are diabetic...kicks off with very similar symptoms
Another suggestion.......have you any gas appliances in your house such as a boiler or fire? Have they been serviced recently? Invest in a carbon monoxide detector (you can get colur change one in B and Q for about 5) - you could be suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning. Get it checked out pronto!!
