modelling photos

dont really know which category to put this in. im getting some photos done but i need to know if guys need to wear make-up for their photos to look their best. and if we do, how much etc? and if i dont use make-up for the photos will i just look all washed out?

From what I know, agencies aren't interested in amazing arty shots of you looking perfect. They want to see if you have good bone structure/fit in with their "style"/ have a strong smile and nice teeth etc. Then they will want to meet you to see if you have a good personality- hard working, thick-skinned, genial and easy to work with etc. I would take several photos of you, close up for face and further away for body,but don't put on make up. They will be able to tell if you are what they are looking for from a snap shot!

you could get some anti shine tissues and maybe a little cover stick for blemishes but other than that, i wouldnt bother
