Not really a laughing matter. If not sorted soon it could lead to surgery.
mottie - who cares about "prescribe" - being pedantic eh - when you are actually doing the bloody thing - pedantic, semantic, potato, potahto, tomato, tomayto let's call the whole thing off LOL
When I was constipated as a child my mum gave me
Senokot tablets. Worked a treat. My dad didn't tell anyone about his constipation and ended up with a nurse arriving to give him an enema. He could have needed surgery. Not pleasant. You have let it go too far. Get it sorted fast is my advice.
I am reading over the 23 posts and Gordie doesn't bother his a$se letting us know what is happening to him. He does that all the time.
Get yourself to the Doc soon.
After treatment, come over to my place, the side wall needs pebbledashing.
LOL @mastercraft - we all know what pebbledashing is don't we.
Were Senokot around when you were a child? I cannot remember them. The traditional remedies were Liquid Paraffin, Syrup of Figs, Beecham's Pills, Bile Beans or Senna pods, boiled and the liquid drank.
Years I used to go out with a nurse, she told me that in cases like this a 'manual extraction' could be ordered by a doctor, I have never been sure if she was winding me up or not!
gordie, when you do finally 'let one go' it may be a good idea to phone the local sewage works and warn them to put a couple of extra men on shift!
Manual extraction can indeed be done, however most practitioners would wish to avoid it.

Let us know all is well Gordie.
Geordie often does not return to his threads, but that's OK :-)
I have never gone over 24 hours without a No2.
Two weeks is unfathemable!
Or even ... unfathomable.
Mine stopped working for 12 days when I was in hospital, but seeing gordie hasent returned, no point in saying what happened.
Confused - are you a doctor JJ ?
And yes Gordie you definitely need to speak to a doctor tomorrow
Smow - moi JJ - Oh Yes, come to me Dr Jennyjoan MD - only kidding - no I am not - just fooling around. Mind you I think I am better than a doc as I can answer pretty much medical things and DIY while I am it.
It is a week since you posted, Gordie.
Some good advice was given you.
An update would be appreciated, I'm sure?

Maybe he exploded
Looks ok, he's allegedly in one of todays papers talking about Leccy Meters
He's been featured in the paper previously, if I remember rightly.
